I’m looking to get the vizio e3d420vx and the panasonic bdt210. will i be able to watch 3d movies without glitches? the vizio is passive (passive glasses) and the panasonic hdtv’s are active from what i know. i want to get the panasonic as it’s supposedly one of the best on the market.

I have a Sony BDP-S370 blu ray player and i wanted to buy Despicable me on 3D but recently i heard you need 3D ready to watch it….I was wondering what will happen if i put the disk on my blu ray player? will it play is? and i dont have the glasses, I also have a sony bravia TV…………..HELP!!!

would it be the same experience as it is in the movies (only talking about 3Ds) do you wear glasses? will you need to buy the player, and the TV for it, and the new movies? how much would that cost altogether, and is it really that grand of a sight?? would it play regular dvds also? if yes, would the visual quality of those change at all?

If you have a 3d tv, do you have to but a blu ray player to watch them or can you just rent a 3d movie on netflix and watch it in 3d with glasses or can you get a 3d movie for dvd player and would that work?

I don’t understand why I’m reading about special players and battery powered glasses that I’ll need in order to watch a 3D Blu-Ray movie. I have a 46" 1080p 120hz TV and a PS3 that plays blu-ray disks. Shouldn’t I be able to pop in the 3D movie, put on glasses like they have at the theater and sit back and enjoy?
