Since I do not have a 3D TV I wasn’t able to review 3D disc, but according to online reviewers it has got 10 stars for the superb image quality. Is there an option to watch 3D Blu-Ray movies in 2D? I don’t have a 3D TV yet but plan on getting one eventually but I want to know if any 3D movies I buy now will be viewable like a normal movie.

I have 32′ LG HD TV and a Sony PS3 Slim. I heard that Sony will have an update this Summer for the PS3, that will make PS3s compatible with 3D content. Will I need to buy a new TV to play 3D Blu-ray movies? How much will the 3D glasses cost me?

I only want to watch movies in 3D, not cable.

Ok, so I bought a PS3 on the weekend. We hired out 3 Blu-Ray movies to watch (The Invention Of Lying, Saw VI & Final Destination 4 (3D). The crappy Invention of Lying works and plays fine but the other two won’t play. When you insert the movie into the PS3 it come up with a spinning ring in the top right hand corner for about 5 seconds and then says "The device region code doesn’t match the disc region code". So I’ve downloaded the region code remover onto my laptop but my laptop won’t register the movies either (perhaps because my laptop doesn’t have a blu-ray player or because it’s a hunk of shit). Anyway, my actual question is; Can I remove the Region Code of my PS3 as I think it was purchased overseas somewhere. I googled up what regions there are and there is region A, B and C so I was wondering if whatever region it is, can I remove it for good of the PS3 so it will always play blu-rays no matter what? As I said, it worked on the crap movie (I’m guessing that’s because it didn’t have a region code). Someone help, there overnight movies and I didn’t pay each to pick at my brain cuz it won’t play lol. So helllllpppp (:
Thanks guys, I haven’t updated the firmware but I’m not sure if it already has been (we bought it 2nd hand) If not, how do I update it? I seen the website for it but can I do it from my PS3??

Yeah, I thought that would be the case I know I can remove the region code off the movies if I have the ‘region code remover 2.3′ which I downloaded but when I put the disc’s into my laptop they dont register in my computer. Could that be because they are hired from the video shop?

Hi I currently have 52"Sony Bravia HDTV/LCD 1080P 120Hz & my PS3 console to watch Blu-ray movies & play video games. I do want to buy Avatar & Moster vs Aliens on Blu-ray 3D version & buy upgradeing my HDMI cable to a HDMI 1.4 version. My question is do I really need a 3D/HDTV? Thank you.
